Paper Sundaes Challenge 34- Mixed Mediums!

Happy Sundae! Welcome to Paper Sundaes Challenge #34!

This week our challenge is sponsored by My Creative Classroom. If you are unfamiliar with My Creative Classroom, here is some information about them:

Hello Fellow Crafters!  My Creative Classroom is back for a brand new semester.  This fall we have over 100 online courses and we are so excited to get the semester going.

We have completely redesigned our website so be sure to stop by and check it out.  We have added four new instructors: Allison Davis, Glenda Waterworth, Michelle Van Etten and Korin Surtherland.  We have also added three new partner companies: Prima Marketing, Donna Salazar and Epiphany Crafts.

If you are new to MCC, we are an online arts and crafts learning center.  Our interactive and in-depth courses are instructor led and filled with wonderful projects and techniques to help you get the most out of your supplies. From the Cricut to Copics to mixed media to rubber stamping to scrapbooking we have something for everyone. Our newly remodeled free classroom, Everyday Moodlings, is now open for enrollment.

We are excited to be sponsoring this blog give-a-way.  One lucky winner will receive a $25 scholarship, good towards any class of their choice.  Good luck and see you in the classroom.

This week we are challenging you to use Mixed Mediums on your card or paper project!  This means that you would use at least two different coloring mediums together!  For example, you might color your image with Copics and add some shading with pencil crayons or chalks!  This might sound scary to someone who has never tried it, but it really can be easy.  Just make sure that if one of your mediums is Copic markers, that you use the Copics FIRST so you don't hurt the tips.  Some of the various mediums you can play with are watercolors, Copic markers, pencil crayons and chalks.   Have fun, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Here are some cards from our design team to inspire you!
